About Our New Adventure

Welcome to the new voice of Anchored Life Ministries. I would like to share with you my thoughts as well as feature articles by guest contributors.

Our faith community began as a dream, vision, and hope, and is now being fulfilled as we gather weekly. We are excited about all the possibilities of doing church a little bit differently. We encourage participation in discussion, creative expressions of worship, and involvement of all age groups.

We have a heart for all people and people groups. We laugh, we cry, we listen, we pray, we encourage each other and learn from each other. We believe each person has a place of value and purpose.

We have found Jesus Christ to be our one true anchor in this life, and believe you will find him to be a source of life and security on your journey as well.

I place high value on dialogue, so feel free to comment on what you read!

    Greetings Pastor Shirley,

This is one of the most spiritually unique and timely websites that I have seen in a while. The concept of "anchoring" is a great vehicle for understanding and conveying what we all need in our lives on a daily basis - particularly to guide us through the tempestous waves of this life. I commend you and your ministry for all you are doing! Thank you.

Pastor Shirley, you are indeed a woman of integrity who seeks to serve God daily through your commitment to the things that he has placed in your charge. While being a member of Anchored Life, I have learned the importance of prayer and faith in the midst of life’s challenges and changes. You are a dynamic teacher, and a powerful lecturer who is rising at the pace God has set for your life. You bring a spirit of excellence to all that you do so that the name of the Lord may receive honor and glory. God Bless.
